Tulip Tree Quilt by John Paul Stanley

Early in the spring, the Bay Area is dazzled by the blooming of the Tulip tree. This watercolor is inspired by that family of magnolias. My wife Chris loves tulip trees and tulip flowers. After months in our refrigerator she plants them around our home and we enjoy their vibrant show in the spring. Chris made a fun tulip quilt which my son Cary is leaning on as he teases our cat Domino who, like most cats likes to be on top of the world.

The original watercolor is approximately 19" wide by 15" deep. You may purchase a fine art Giclee print of this art by contacting me at the email address at the bottom of this page. This art can be reproduced with excellent results both larger and smaller than the original size. You may also contact me concerning commission work.
