Each summer my sons Cary and Peter looked forward to their backpacking trip with their Uncle Doug and Aunt Catherine. The love of quilting has been passed down to Catherine and my wife Chris from their artistic mom Helen. This quilt was designed by Catherine. It depicts both Doug and Catherine's love of nature and the Sierra. Doug tries to catch up with Catherine as she is off to enjoy a walk in the high Sierra.
