Sierra Outlet Quilt by John Paul Stanley

High in the Sierras the trees grow like bonsai plant, groomed with character by wild forces. This was a painting and self portrait done many years ago as I captured this lake outlet on canvas. Later the memories of this visit were to become a watercolor with a quilt I designed. My wife Chris is enjoying quilting and a time of relaxation after a strenuous hike to the spot.
