The Quilt Art Gallery is a collection of watercolors by John Paul Stanley. You will see a common theme of quilts and John's family including their cat Domino. Inspired by the cherished works of Swedish artist Carl Larsson, John set about capturing the life of his own beloved family in a series of watercolors. With a passion for Architecture, Design and Illustration John studied at Cal Poly, California College of Arts and Crafts, and Fresno State University. He earned his Masters under Darwin Musselman. This formal training was enhanced with several extensive trips to Europe and Israel where John documented his travels with many sketches. John currently resides in the historic gold rush town of Auburn where he is surrounded and inspired by the beauty of the Sierra foothills.
