LaQuinta Resort is one of the many vacation resorts owned by our biggest clients, KSL Resorts. They were looking for a website that would show off the activities offered by the resort as well as a glimpse into their scenic surroundings. Much of the website was done using static HTML, but there were many added features that allowed them to dynamically update prices as they changed. Another website owned by KSL was the PGA West site. This site not only showcased the golf course, it also had a special membership community that I implemented. The community allowed members to log in and communicate with other members through chat and a bulletin board system. Each member and their children had an individual user profile that included a picture as well as information about interests. This required taking KSL's existing databases and merging them to form a robust user information database. This was one of the largest databases of information I had ever worked with and required a lot of custom programming to batch process updates as well as importing existing information.
