Florence Art Company is one of largest suppliers of garden statuary and fountains in the Bay Area. They wanted an aesthetically pleasing, easy to navigate website that could showcase their large inventory of statuary. One of the best features of the website is the dealer locator. If a customer finds an item they would like to purchase they simply press the "Local Availability" to the right of the item. They are prompted for their zip code and the search distance. The website then produces a list of stores near by that have the item in the finish they selected sorted by shortest distance. The dealer locator can also be accessed from the home page to find dealers in the local area. Customers can also search the massive catalog by keyword to find just the statue they've been seeking. The entire site is database driven using Access and Active Server Pages this was a requirement given the constant change in stock and sales to different vendors. Access was used not only because it was less expensive, but also because it was easier to export to from the company's existing database.
