OTAPS is deeply indebted to all the individuals, businesses, and organizations that have supported the medical history museum’s development. OTAPS is especially grateful to the many families and individuals who have donated wonderful and intriguing items for display. The need for very early medical artifacts, historical information (letters, photos, etc.), and especially for financial support, never ends, however.

The museum is young, and there’s so much more to do, and so many more artifacts to collect. Its building is old, over 155 years, and this painted lady needs ongoing love and care! Major fund-raising efforts are currently being planned for a new roof, needed in 2012, and ADA modifications. Both your artifact donations and your checks are needed and greatly appreciated.

The museum also needs volunteer docents in order to establish at least regular Summer weekend hours. Medical knowledge is beneficial but, because displays are identified, is not required.
